Donate us and stand beside helpless people:

NEWSUN is working with the poor, vulnerable, and person with disable. A small hut, flood, storm, water logging, and scarcity of safe water are the normal incident of their daily life thus causing thousands of people to lose their livelihood assets every year. Maternal mortality, malnutrition, and Low Birth Weight with different diseases are increased their suffering. Education and disable friendly environment is a dream for them. In order to rebuild their livelihood, they often have to resort to moneylenders, and that causes them to fall deeper into poverty. Rural people with absolute poverty are unable to manage three times meals in a day for four to five-member households like participants Salma said, “Hunger is pain”.  NEWSUN is working with them and you can join us to bring incredible happy to those families. Use of Funds

The funds raised will be allocated to disaster management projects in Khulna & Satkhira Zila.

Alongside Amphan relief, another portion of the funds raised will be allocated to construction & operation of Covid-19 testing booths in hard to reach areas in Bangladesh with minimal access to healthcare.

We are doing this because Bangladesh is in deep crisis. As we swiftly leapfrog the rest of the world in confirmed cases, these areas suffer from severe infrastructural damage due to Super Cyclone Amphan. Bangladesh’s fast growing economy is now put to a staggering halt, our entire medical sector is overwhelmed and thousands of people have had their homes decimated by this historically severe natural disaster.

However, the fight is not over. We urge you to contribute to our cause and directly aid the people of the nation while also lifting spirits by supporting our artists. Donate now…

PEOPLE OF SOUTHWEST BANGLADESH NEED YOU

The Cyclone Amphan has left hundreds of thousand people homeless and displaced. Around 2 million people in the South-West Bangladesh has been severely affected. Loss of crop and fisheries has completely shattered the local economy.

Nearly 70 km2 embankments has been breached and now there is no wall between the sea and people’s home.

These communities who were already suffering from unemployment and loss of income due to the ongoing CORONA virus has now become a victim of the Cyclone Amphan. It’s our time to stand by these communities in order to help them rebuild and recover.

Thousands of people are living under the open sky and there is an urgent need for Fresh drinking water, Emergency shelter, Emergency food & cash support and Sanitation & hygiene support.

The embankments must be repaired urgently and long term rehabilitation action must be taken.

At present the organization is implementing various programs for the sustainable development of the backward people of the society. One of which is to increase the quality of computer education among the rural students with the aim of spreading quality education. To this end, NEWSUN has prepared and approved a plan in the form of a proposal to set up three computer training centers at Lata and Deluti union in Paikgacha upazila and Magurkhali union in Dumuria upazila of Khulna district. The estimated cost is Rs. 1,60,000/- or USD 2,000/-.

Currently we are conducting an awareness raising program called Mass awareness on Wash in Khulna city and in 3 unions of Paikgacha and Dumuria upazilas. For the implementation of which we need a continuous funding. You can help us ensure people’s WASH rights by donating.
